Pass Digital Inc. became the center of attention of visitors at SIGN Istanbul with its innovations
Pass Digital Inc. participated in the SIGN Istanbul 2021 Fair held between September 9-12, 2021. Pass Digital Inc. introduced its products of the Docan UV, Aleron, Skytec and Wit-Color brands, for which it carries out sales and marketing activities, to visitors at the fair, which was followed by 25 thousand visitors.
After the fair, Pass Dijtal Inc. General Manager Hüseyin Çetin answered our questions.
SIGN Istanbul 2021 Fair was completed successfully. Can you tell us your opinions about the fair? Could you evaluate the fair in terms of participant and visitor density?
Hüseyin Çetin: We could not meet with the sector due to the fairs postponed due to the pandemic last year. After a long break, we participated in the fair to meet with the sector and our customers, introduce our new products and establish contact with new customers. The pandemic process caused some investments to be postponed. We participated in the fair at a time when investment was needed. SIGN Istanbul Fair met our expectations in this sense. Many customers visited our stand for 4 days. We are pleased with the participation.
How was the interest of the visitors to the products? Do you think the visitors to the fair were professional and conscious?
Hüseyin Çetin: We care more about qualified visitors rather than crowded fairs. In this sense, SIGN Istanbul Fair is always followed by a professional visitor group. This year's visitor profile was also quite professional and consisted of people who knew what they wanted.
You exhibited many products during the fair. Which products were the visitors more interested in at the fair? What do you attribute this interest to?
Hüseyin Çetin: Pass Dijital A.Ş. We have a very wide range of products. We reviewed and determined the products we will exhibit before the fair. Since there was no fair last year, we exhibited many innovations at our stand. In the Docan UV group, we introduced our H3000 New Ricoh Gen6 Head 205X320 Flatbed Machine and S3200 Kyocera Head Roll to Roll models. We exhibited the New 1024 Starfire 6 Head 10 pl. Ultra Star Solvent Printing Machine with the Wit-Color brand. Skytec Eko XP600 and i3200 Ekosolvent Printing machines were at our stand. We introduced our Aleron brand Flatbed UV Printing Machine. With its 90×60 cm net printing area, Aleron UV offers the opportunity to print on all kinds of hard surface products. Multiple products can be printed at the same time, especially for the promotional sector.
Skytec Hot Transfer Pet Film Printing System, which is among our new products and has attracted great attention recently, attracted the attention of visitors during the fair. This printing system allows you to print on any type of fabric with the desired number of transfer printing methods. In addition to this machine, we sell consumables such as pet film, transfer powder and ink.
How did you find the fair in terms of domestic and international visitors? Which regions did visitors come to your stand from?
Hüseyin Çetin: We saw that the sector missed the fair. Visitors came from every region and city of Turkey. We participated in the fair with a very large stand area. We exhibited a large number of machines. Our stand was constantly busy. There were visits from abroad due to the pandemic conditions, but they did not occur at the expected level. Our target at this fair was the domestic market. For this reason, it was an efficient organization for us.
What topics were emphasized more in your contacts with visitors to the fair?
Hüseyin Çetin: There were increases in prices due to the product supply shortage experienced worldwide after the pandemic. In addition, the increase in exchange rates has increased costs to very high levels. In addition, the container-based increases in imports have made it very difficult for us. Since the problem is general, everyone is aware of it. In this sense, we continue to offer our products at the most affordable prices possible, with the awareness of our responsibility as a company. We are trying to provide a little more flexibility in terms of payment for those who want to make a purchase.
Do you think that SIGN Istanbul Fair will accelerate the season's movement?
Hüseyin Çetin: Based on the impressions we received during the fair, I can say that SIGN Istanbul has increased the movement in the sector. It also brought together after a long break. The morale and motivation of the participants and visitors increased. This situation will also be reflected in the sales. We will be able to analyze the performance of the fair better in the coming days.
Can you say that you are generally satisfied with your participation in the fair? Do you have a message you would like to give at this point?
Hüseyin Çetin: I hope that we will have a good season for the sectorI hope so. We missed doing business as a sector. Hopefully, we can finish 2021 well and make a much better start to 2022.
