Yes. Cylindrical items are mounted on a rotary attachment; the item turns while the printhead moves along a single axis, allowing a continuous image around the body. Conical bodies require an attachment matched to the product.

2. Does it make sense to print a single personalised item?

Digital printing has no tooling cost, so single-unit production is economical. Printing a different name on every corporate gift is impossible with traditional methods but here is simply a matter of file preparation.

3. Will the print survive hand washing and dishwashers?

With the correct primer and full curing, the print withstands everyday use. Durability in hot, detergent-heavy environments such as dishwashers depends on the ink and the quality of pre-treatment; sample testing is recommended for items facing heavy use.

4. Is pre-treatment required on metal and plastic surfaces?

Usually yes. Smooth metal and some plastics do not hold ink directly; a thin primer layer improves adhesion markedly. Porous surfaces such as wood and unglazed ceramic often need no pre-treatment at all.
